About Us
Shiz Plastic Surgery is a specialized plastic surgery clinic founded in 2000 on Gwangbok-ro, Busan. With 25 years of accumulated clinical experience, we provide stable medical services.
Since 2008, we have actively pursued attracting international patients and have grown into a global plastic surgery clinic capable of providing care in six languages. We treat patients from Japan, China, Russia, English-speaking countries, Vietnam, and Mongolia, with foreign patients from diverse nations consistently visiting our clinic.
Specialty – Anti-Aging Surgery Our primary specialty is anti-aging surgery, centered on eye wrinkle surgery and facial wrinkle surgery. While eye and nose surgeries dominated early on, wrinkle surgery has become our core specialty as clinical experience grew. Currently, a significant number of both domestic and international patients seek our clinic specifically for wrinkle improvement.
Over 80% of new patients come through referrals from existing surgical patients, resulting in a high proportion of middle-aged and older patients. Given the high volume of anti-aging surgery patients, related treatment programs are actively operated, leading to a high rate of repeat visits from international patients.
International Patient Care System Despite not being a large medical institution, our hospital actively attracts international patients, underpinned by a systematic internal management system.
The entire process of attracting international patients is managed internally. Dedicated interpreters provide comprehensive support throughout: from preliminary consultations and appointments, to interpretation during treatment, and post-operative care. This ensures accurate communication between medical staff and patients, leading to a high rate of repeat visits.
Beyond medical services, we offer various support services designed for the convenience of international patients. We continuously enhance services for surgical patients' recovery and stay, including hotel reservation assistance at affiliated properties near the hospital, hospital-airport pickup service, pharmacy accompaniment for prescription pickup, and shampoo services during treatment periods.
Treatment Environment and Trust-Based Operations To encourage repeat visits from international patients, we introduced in-house skincare packages and spa programs. This has contributed to increasing both new patient intake and the proportion of repeat visits. This integrated treatment environment has become the foundation for establishing our hospital as a premium anti-aging plastic surgery center.
All surgical costs are transparently disclosed online and offline, and the same fee policy applies to foreign patients as to domestic patients. This cost management principle is a key factor in earning high trust from international patients.
Our foreign patient attraction results are as follows: 2,393 in 2019, 1,193 in 2023, 1,983 in 2024, and 1,353 in 2025. Recently, foreign patient care has shifted toward surgery-focused services, with an increasing proportion of repeat visits and referrals.
Certification and Designation Status Our hospital has been operating as a leading medical tourism institution in Busan Metropolitan City since June 2020. Following 2024, we were again selected as an Excellent Institution for Attracting Foreign Patients designated by the Ministry of Justice for 2025.
Furthermore, in 2025, we were officially designated by the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare as a certified medical institution for attracting foreign patients, receiving government recognition for our medical services and safety management systems tailored for international patients. We are dedicated to becoming a plastic surgery center that foreign patients can trust and choose. -
