SNU Ophthalmology, specializing in vision correction and presbyopia cataract, is equipped
with premium, state-of-the-art technology at a university hospital level. We have four Smile
Lasik machines, the largest number in Korea, as well as specialized equipment for 3D
imaging lens implantation.
Dr. Chung Eui-Sang, the head doctor, introduced Smile Lasik to Korea and is a renowned Smile Key Doctor, with medical professionals from Asia and Europe visiting to observe surgeries and learn techniques. Additionally, he launched Toric ICL in Korea and is one of only eight ICL Expert Doctors. He was recognized for his contributions to the advancement of ICL in Korea at the 2024 APAC Experts Summit.
