The website is operated in 5 languages (Korean, English, Chinese, Japanese and Indonesian/Malay), and resident coordinators who can interpret Chinese, Japanese and English support patients so that they can receive care without language barriers, from the initial consultation through post-procedure aftercare. Appointments can be made not only via Kakao booking, Naver booking and telephone, but also through channels for overseas clients such as WhatsApp, WeChat and LINE, and the clinic has introduced a CRM-based booking automation system (VEGAS) to automate tasks such as booking confirmation, visit verification and payment management. The clinic has built a cooperative network with approximately 50 global partner organizations and attracts patients of diverse nationalities, including from Japan, Greater China, Southeast Asia, the Americas and Mongolia, through country-specific SNS marketing on Instagram, Facebook, WeChat, Xiaohongshu (小红书) and TikTok. As of 2025, the clinic attracted 6,500 international patients, and its cumulative number of international patients over the 3 years since opening exceeds 18,000.

JIWOO Clinic holds a number of accreditations and designations from government and public institutions. ① Ministry of Health and Welfare KAHF Accreditation (obtained April 2026): The official accreditation for medical institutions attracting international patients, administered by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI), which verifies medical service quality, patient safety and operating systems against international standards. Obtained on April 22, 2026, and valid until April 2030. ② Designated as an Outstanding Medical Tourism Institution by the Ministry of Justice (September 2026): Selected through the Ministry of Justice's rigorous criteria and review, and granted the authority to issue e-VISAs (electronic visas). ③ Selected as one of KHIDI's Most Visited Hospitals by international patients (September 2025): Officially selected for 「Korean Medical Institutions Most Visited by International Patients」, published by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. ④ Selected for KHIDI's Overseas Promotional Video Support Program (October 2025): Produced promotional videos targeting Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia and carried out overseas marketing. -
Overseas Expansion
Based on its main clinic in Gangnam, JIWOO Clinic is pursuing systematic overseas expansion in cooperation with JIWOO Corporation Co., Ltd., a specialized global MSO. In March 2025, it established JIWOO Holdings Pte. Ltd., a global hub corporation in Singapore, and is shifting from an inbound model to an outbound model of local market entry. Clinical and technical cooperation is currently underway with medical professionals in China, Japan, Mongolia and Italy, and partnerships with Singapore, Turkey and Dubai are also in preparation. Regional expansion plans are being pursued in phases, including the establishment of a K-Medical Aesthetics Center in a new town near Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (Phase 1 in 2027), entry into the Chinese market with Suzhou as the first hub, and southward expansion into Malaysia and Indonesia. The overseas revenue model consists of 3 pillars: brand royalties, distribution margins on medical devices and cosmetics, and fees for local hospital cooperation and education/training. In Korea, the clinic plans to expand its capacity to serve international patients through its main clinic in Gangnam and the establishment of a branch in Jeju.
