Bright Eye Clinic pioneered the introduction of Asia's first SMILE laser equipment, the VisuMax, in 2009. By 2022, it had performed over 100,000 SMILE procedures and continues to lead in establishing ophthalmic technology and treatment environments, having performed over 700,000 vision correction surgeries including SMILE PRO, SMILE, LASIK, LASEK, ICL, presbyopia surgery, and cataract surgery, leading the way in ophthalmic technology and treatment environment development.
Bright Eye Ophthalmology is the only eye clinic in Seoul certified by the Ministry of Health and Welfare as an Excellent Medical Institution for Attracting Foreign Patients (KAHF). This follows awards including the 2024 World's Highest Number of Presbyopia Lens Implantation (ArtiPlus) Procedures and the Contribution Award for Reaching 10 Million JASIS Smile Procedures.
Through visits and research exchanges with global ophthalmic optics industry representatives, participation in American and European academic conferences, and other initiatives, we continuously advance our technical capabilities and medical systems. Each year, more international patients seek out Bright Eye Ophthalmology to regain clear vision and enhance their quality of life. -
