3. Check breathing
Observe the patient’s face 
and chest
for ≤10 seconds

Observe the patient’s face  and chest  for ≤10 seconds
4. 30 chest compressions Place the heel of the hands  on the center of the chest, press the chest firmly
5. 2 rescue breaths Tilt the head back, lift the chin, cover the nose, and give 2 breaths per second mouth-to-mouth 
6. Repeat Continue cycles of 30 compressions and 2 breaths
