The International Health Care Center (IHCC) of Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital (SSMH) is staffed by multilingual doctors and coordinators. In the IHCC, physicians provide initial and relevant examinations and treatments. Patients will be referred to appropriate departments, getting continuous support from the IHCC during patients stay.
SSMH’s Hematology Hospital has a global reputation. Since the successful sibling hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for a patient from the UAE in 2012, the number of the HSCT performed for international patients has increased sharply, and the SSMH’s accumulated number of HSCT reached more than 10,000 since the first allogeneic HSCT in SSMH and Korea in 1983.
