Registered nurse or nursing faculty with proficiency in Korean or English(requirements may vary)
Curriculum
- - Care for end-stage liver disease patients
- - post-liver transplant patient care
- - ECMO/Ventilator patient management etc.

Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Ward

Goal

Understand and observe specialized nursing care for hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) patients
Duration

2 to 4 weeks (duration may vary)
Eligibility

Registered nurse or nursing faculty proficient in Korean or English (requirements may vary)
Curriculum
- - Nursing care and management of hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients
- - Infection control and patient safety activities etc.

Operating room

Goal

Understand and observe the preparation and procedures for major surgeries by specialty. Experience pre- and post-operative patient care and patient safety activities
Duration

2 to 4 weeks (program duration may vary)
Eligibility

A registered nurse in an overseas medical institution or a nursing faculty who is proficient in Korean or English (requirements may vary)
Curriculum
- - Operating room infection control and patient safety activities
- - Preparation and procedures for surgeries by specialty (Available areas: liver transplant surgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery)
- - Sterile supply and surgical equipment management and handling

Post-Anesthesia Care Unit(PACU)

Goal

Understand and observe the preparation and procedures for anesthesia during liver transplant surgery
Duration

2 to 4 weeks (program duration may vary)
Eligibility

A registered nurse in an overseas medical institution or a nursing faculty who is proficient in Korean or English
Curriculum
- - Preparation and procedure for anesthesia(liver transplant surgery)
- - Preparation and use of anesthetic materials and medications

Ward

Goal

Understand and observe pre- and post-operative nursing care for ward patients based on the type of surgery. Experience infection control, patient safety activities, and pain management for ward patients
Duration

2 to 4 weeks (program duration may vary)
Eligibility

A registered nurse in an overseas medical institution or a nursing faculty who is proficient in Korean or English
Curriculum
- - Ward infection control, fall prevention/pressure ulcer prevention
- - Common perioperative nursing for adults
- - Preoperative and postoperative care, Complication managemen
- - Patient education for surgeries by specialty (Available areas: orthopedic surgery, ENT surgery ect.)

Program
